Yesterday E-Motion announced that it is changing its name to Yedang Online, and at the same time revealed to the public for the first time a short video of Priston Tale 2 - The Second Enigma. The video seems to have been only for presentation purposes, and so far I haven't been able to find the actual clip. The video was short, but it displayed impressive graphics and smooth character animation (FYI, PT2 utilizes the Unreal 2.5 Engine, whereas Lineage 2 uses Unreal 2.0). Here are screenshots: It was also announced that a CG-animated teaser video for Priston Tale 2 will be released for download in May, and that in-game video footage will also be revealed during the same month at E3. Last but not least, we have updated release dates. 1st Closed Beta is now scheduled for June 2006, Open Beta is scheduled for November 2006, and commercialization (p2p) is scheduled for February 2007. According to previous articles, E-Motion (now Yedang Online) plans to release the game simultaneously in English, Korean and Japanese, although whether that only means simultaneous commercial release or whether it includes the beta periods is not quite clear. QUOTE btw who is this man? found the pic on the chosun link he's the current CEO of Yedang Online, Kim Nam Cheol. the former CEO of Priston, Jung Gyo Min, is not the CEO anymore, but he's still lurking in the backgrounds.. probably still has more clout than Kim =P you know, there is actually a video clip that tries to load in the chosun.com link above... I just got it to work..! take a look mms://gamepds.chosun.com/chosun01/prist.wmv
